Get to know Mat Ace, MBA

Mat is focused on creating efficient systems that benefit both clients and the team. He was drawn to the financial industry by the opportunity to help people focus on what matters most, and he enjoys identifying opportunities to improve the client experience while helping team members bring their ideas to the table.

Before joining J. Biance Financial, Mat spent years in the telecommunications industry, where he served as a training director, sales director, process engineer and chief of staff. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Florida. He is also a Lean Six Sigma certified Black Belt.

Mat lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife, Melissa, and their six children: Lydia, Charlotte, Simone, Sebastian, Vincent and Lucille. The family shares their home with many animals, including two dogs, Hawk and Harvey, a cat named Link, a gecko and rabbits. He feels deeply blessed by the gifts God has given his family. Outside of the office, Mat enjoys running, traveling, church activities and cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Florida State Seminoles.
